Each year we host a variety of tours ranging from small groups to fully chartered buses. As a working farm we have many facets to our operation and tours can be general or focus on particular areas of your interest as the seasons change. Our tours include a tasting of our unique honey products and a visit to the farm shop and apothecary.
- Sustainable beekeeping operations
- Chemical-free medicinal herb growing, harvesting, drying and processing
- Biodynamic farming techniques
- Traditional food preparation on the homestead
- Teaching gardens and labyrinth
- Endangered plants, medicinals and common weeds used for good health
We provide a guided tour of the farm and honey tasting lasting up to 1 ½-hours. Groups up to 20 people tour for a flat fee of $150. Larger groups include a tour admission of $7 per person. Chartered tour groups include complimentary admission for bus drivers and charter company tour guides.
Parking & Facilities
As a small farm we have limited parking areas, but regularly accommodate small and full-size charter buses. Vehicle parking is also limited based upon weather conditions, so carpooling is strongly encouraged for smaller groups. Restrooms are available, but not all areas of the farm are ADA accessible. Remember, we are a working farm with equipment, animals and bees. Wheel chairs and walkers may have limited mobility, and guests should use care as you tour. If you have special needs, let us know when scheduling so we can craft a tour to suit your group.
What to Wear
Be prepared for the weather, a little mud and anything else Mother Nature may throw at us. Tours normally include some walking and may optionally include climbing stairs.
