Mockingbird Meadows Honey and Herb Farm

Visit the Farm!

Both Carson and I have teaching experience from the elementary to the university level. We are passionate about what we do here at Mockingbird Meadows. We think that passion, coupled with our educational and work experiences, gives us something unique to share with all age groups. Please call Dawn at 614-354-5162 to schedule a visit.

We currently welcome the following groups:

Adult Clubs and Historical Societies
We are a working farm and are excited about working with you to create an outing appropriate for your group! Join us for lunch, honey tasting and a farm experience.

Future Plans

Over the next year we expect to offer many opportunities for those who are interested in experiencing a small family herb farm. Among these opportunities will be:

Student Internships
Hands on learning experience from planting to harvesting on a small scale family farm practicing biodynamic and organic principles.

Harvest Experience
Guests will be welcome to share in the harvest experience, learning how to properly identify the herb at its peak potency and how to pick. After the harvest, guests will be invited to a buffet and party in the barn.

Agritourism Bus Stop
Tour groups will be welcomed to the farm and experience a guided tour of the operation and learn about the history, botany and the uses of the herbs growing here. Unguided walks will lead guests to take a meditational walk through the labyrinth, meander through the barn and greenhouse or study the medicinal herbs scattered throughout the landscaping.
